2013-02-02_135976841520 Great Practical Questions to Get the Best Out of Your Life

Questions are the windows to our inner workings. Without questions we are like ships without rudders … we are directionless.  Why not open a window today and allow in some fresh thoughts and inspiration?…..and maybe even provoke some action?

How to Step Up to Challenges Using the ABC’s of Resiliency

There are a few main ways we respond to stress in life. We can give up, put up, or step up.

  •  Giving up is when we succumb to the stressful event and feel defeated.
  • Putting up with a stressful event is accepting it and dealing with it but from a place of distress and reservation.
  • Stepping up is when we bounce back, fully recover and do what it takes to meet the challenge. We may even end up a stronger person.

re-claiming “authenticity”

The work of “living authentically” is not about finding yourself. It’s about removing the obstacles to finding yourself.

It’s an ongoing process. It won’t be done in one fell swoop. Not one of the so-called “thought leaders” that you might look up to right now are “done” with living “authentically.” It’s a practice, a process.

The Key to Living a Soulful Life

Living a soulful life isn’t something that just happens to us. It isn’t like we just look at our life one day and realize that we’re awake – enlightened – present – alive – happy – whole – and at peace.

Definitely not. (At least this isn’t what I’ve experienced.)

Living a soulful life is a moment-to-moment decision that we make.

Fall in Love with Life

It finally dawned on me that I wasn’t living the life I loved, and I certainly wasn’t living powerfully. Fear had driven me into following the ‘right’ path, so as to prove how together I was.

I’d been spending so much time trying to prove to others and myself that I am good enough

The Success Indicator

This chart was inspired and composed after meeting and working with some of the smartest, most successful entrepreneurs in the world, many of who are dear friends.

The following is that chart I compiled of characteristics, traits and behaviors of successful people vs. unsuccessful people.
